William John ("Bill") Teplica, Jr., 68, of Marietta passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018. A private family memorial service will be held for him on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at 3pm at Marietta Funeral Home.

Mr. Teplica was raised in Darien, Connecticut, and was a graduate of the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. He retired as a salesman from IBM, where he was recognized for his many achievements. He was an avid sports fan and golfer, and he played soccer and softball well into his forties. Mr. Teplica loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and working outside. He was also a talented dancer. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, dedicated father, and loving
grandfather.

Mr. Teplica is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn L. Teplica; his daughter, Megan C. Waldron (Tim); his son, Brian W. Teplica (Mariana); his grandchildren, Presleigh R. Waldron, Aubrey B. Waldron, and Avery M. Waldron; his sister, Bonnie Leitch
(Tim); and three nieces and a nephew.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's  Association.
