Mr. William Jenkins Allen, age 82, of Dallas, GA passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023.

Mr. Allen was born on December 30, 1940 in Rock Hill, SC to the late Mr. Nye Walter Allen Jr. and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Prentiss Walker Allen. William retired from Lockheed Martin after 40 years. He was a member of Elevate Christian Church of Hiram. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Allen and brother, Nye Walter Allen III.

Survivors include his wife, Joy Allen of Dallas; four daughters, Whitney Kriewaldt of Summerville, SC, Tyler Taylor (Paul) of Tuscan, AZ, Stephanie O'Connor (Michael) of RI, and Caroline Knapp (Clint) of Dallas, GA; two sons, Ben Austin (Linda) of Del Ray Beach, FL and William Allen Jr. (Sabrina) of Dallas, GA; sister, Betty Beckham of Rock Hill, SC; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 2:00pm from Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Barton officiating. Interment to follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Tabernacle Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 18th from 11:00am until 2:00pm.

If you would like to still send flowers, flowers will be accepted at Paulding Memorial Gardens located at 3566 Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy, Hiram, GA 30141 on Monday, April 17th from 9:00am until 4:00pm or at Tabernacle Baptist Church located at 3454 Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy, Hiram, GA 30141 on Tuesday, April 18th from 10:00am until 1:30pm.
