Veneta "Nikki" McPherson, 65, of Acworth, died Thursday, February 11, 2016.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 Saturday afternoon at the New Hope Baptist Church. A native of Cartersville, she had lived in Acworth for many years.  Nikki was retired and had been employed by Walmart.  She was a member of the Glade Road Baptist Church.  Nikki was preceded in death by her brother David McPherson. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Albert C. (Jack) McPherson of Center, AL, Ellen Butterworth of Jonesboro, Rev. Gerald (Jerry) McPherson of Ball Ground, Linda Stanton of Acworth, Ruth Minter of Taylorsville, Nelda Adams of Acworth, Rev. Rex McPherson of Lawrenceville, Kathy Motti of Carlton, and Donna Strickland of Kennesaw; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the memorial service.
