Timothy "Tim" W. Shelley, 61, of Ball Ground lost his battle with brain cancer on January 25, 2018. Funeral services will be Monday, January 29, 2018 at 2pm at Marietta Funeral Home with Keith Davis officiating. Interment will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 10:30am at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.

Mr. Shelley served honorably in the United States Navy and went on to work in the banking industry where he was Vice President and Branch Manager for JP Morgan Chase.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Jane Andrews Shelley; daughters, Wendy Kelly of Ball Ground and Heather Stickler of Idaho; sons, Currie McDowell of Marietta and Josh Kelly of Rockmart; sister, Judy Delaney of Marietta; brother, Kenneth Shelley of Marietta; grandson; Ashton Kelly and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4pm and Monday from 12-2pm at the funeral home.
