Thurman Marshall Painter, 42, of Dallas, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Saturday afternoon in the Kennesaw United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Diane Parrish officiating.  Thurman was born in Marietta and had lived in Dallas for the past 15 years.  He was formerly employed with D S Waters in IT Technical Support and was a member of the Kennesaw United Methodist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Betty Painter and his brothers, Neal and Martin Painter.  Surviving are his wife, Jennifer Evenson Painter of Dallas.  The family will receive friends at the Kennesaw United Methodist prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kennesaw United Methodist Church 1801 Ben King Rd.
