Rev. Thomas Eugene Hawkins, 84, passed into heaven Saturday, July 22, 2017.  He is preceded by his mother, Clara Mae Dobbs Hawkins; father, Willie Pugh Hawkins; brothers, Bill and Jimmy Hawkins; sister, Pamela Hawkins Holcombe (Charles Holcombe).  He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Edna Clayton Hawkins of Smyrna; daughters, Marilynn Hawkins Lance and (Bruce) and Lori Hawkins Finks (Steve); grandchildren, Ashlee Cook, Brandon Cook, Bryan Cassel, Nathan Cassel, Courtney Lance, Chelsea Lance and Avery Lance; 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom had great times with their Pa Pa; sister, Doris Dover (Oliver Dover); brother, Charles Hawkins; and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be from 5:30pm to 8:30pm on Tuesday at Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Rd.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 10:30am at Temple Baptist Church, 5415 Macland Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127 with Rev. Jimmy Day and grandson, Rev Brandon Cook from Italy officiating.  Burial will follow at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA at 2:30pm.  Donations can be made to Brandon and Kristan Cook through Macedonia Baptist World Missions, P.O.
