Mrs. Thelma Ruth Holland, age 94, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, following a brief illness.

Born July 12, 1923 in Graves County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Alexander and Mable Clark Alexander.  Mrs. Holland was a homemaker and member of Shiloh Hills Baptist Church in Kennesaw, Georgia.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 17, 2017 from the Shiloh Hills Baptist Church.  Inurnment of the cremains will follow in the Mayfield Mausoleum in Mayfield, Kentucky.

Survivors include, daughter, Hannah Morson (LaMar) of Marietta, Ga.; grandson, David Morson of Marietta, Ga.; granddaughter, Mary Beth Morson of Woodstock, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Tatum Morson, Jake Morson, Holland Stooksbury and Hayden Stooksbury; sisters Helen Evans and LaDonna Penland, both of Fancy Farm, Ky.; brother, Melvin Alexander of Pryorsburg, Ky.

The family will receive friends at the Shiloh Hills Baptist Church on Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
