Mrs. Sydney Sue Spencer, age 86, of Powder Springs passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023.

Mrs. Spencer was born on February 28, 1937 in Wolf Lake, Illinois to the late Mr. Percy Clifton Foreman and the late Mrs. Violet Esther Miller Foreman. Sue was a member of Peoples Baptist Church and volunteered for Sweetwater Valley Camp. She was a very giving person. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Ronald Delbert Spencer and her niece, Jeannie Boyd.

Survivors include her son, Dale Gene Spencer (Debbie) of Fayetteville; daughter, Susan Brown (Michael) of Powder Springs; sister, Alice Boyd (Collin) of Anna, Illinois; three grandchildren, Ginger Spencer, Travis Spencer, and Frederick Brown (Joie); as well as several cousins, one niece, one nephew, and several great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Spencer will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 2:00pm from Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Bellamy officiating. Interment to follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Tabernacle Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 21st from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.

Flowers will be accepted at Tabernacle Baptist Church located at 3454 Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy, Hiram, GA 30141 on Tuesday, March 21st beginning at 10am.
