Steve Whitfield , 40, of Marietta, died Saturday, April 22, 2017.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 27 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home with Dr. Al Southerland officiating. Burial will follow at Sandy Plains Baptist Church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Whitfield of Marietta; sons, William Whitfield, Caleb Whitfield, and Aden Whitfield, all of Marietta; parents, Jerry and Janet Whitfield, of Marietta; grandmother, Mary Stone, of Marietta; sister, Laura Pruneau, of O'Fallon, IL; father-in-law, Morgan Sellers; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.
