Shannon M. Townsend, 42, of Acworth, died Wednesday, July 10, 2019.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday July 14, 2019, in the Chapel of Collins Funeral Home with Mr. Marc Turner officiating.  Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.  Miss Townsend was a lifelong resident of Acworth and graduated from Harrison High School.  Shannon was preceded in death by her brother, George Townsend and special aunt, Zona Brown, and is survived by her parents, Johnny and Lois Townsend of Acworth. 2 nephews, 1 niece, several other aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 on Saturday evening at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
