Shane Conway's Obituary
Shane Conway, 46, of Acworth, died Saturday, December 9, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Thursday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Williams officiating. A lifelong resident of Acworth, Shane was employed as a laser operator with Sheet Metal Components for the past 22 years. He loved fishing and Georgia Bulldogs football. He is survived by his wife, Christy Conway of Acworth; children, Veronica Dorr of Sarasota, FL, Kalep Conway and Nicolas Conway, both of Acworth; grandchildren, Isabella and Brantley; mother and stepfather, Joann and Charles Lee of Hiram; brothers and sisters in law, Tony and Crissy Brookshire of Acworth, Wesley and Tonya Conway of Rome and Kevin and Jessica Conway of Dallas; several nieces, nephews, and very special cousins also survive. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 on Wednesday evening at Collins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org/donate.
