Ruby Byers Foglesong's Obituary
Ruby Byers Foglesong, 71, of Canton, died Monday, July 2, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 Friday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Jonathan Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. Ruby was born in Marietta and had lived in Canton for 25 years. She was formerly self employed as the manager of White Oak Mobile Home Park and was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by, husband, Robert Foglesong; parents, George and Elsie Byers; grandson, Justin Whitley and brother, James Byers. Surviving are her daughter, Tammy McGatha of Piedmont, AL; granddaughter, Brooke Johnson also of Piedmont; sister, Elaine Lingerfelt of Ball Ground; brothers, Tony Byers and Aaron Byers, both of Acworth; 6 step children, several step grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Friday from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
