Robert "Bob" Hogue, of Woodstock, 76, passed away October 10, 2015. He is survived by his sister, Betty Strickland; niece, Karen Benson; nephew, Jeff Strickland; great nieces, Chloe and Vivian and great nephew, Bo. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Grace and Frank Hogue. He served in the National Guard Reserves and was a retired electrician and was a member of the local IBEW 613. He served as President of S.T.A.R. at Roswell United Methodist Church. Bob loved spending time with his family and enjoyed dining out with his special group of friends. He especially loved babies and kids and supported children's charities. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th at 11:00am at Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Rd. Marietta, Georgia 30066. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 - 11:00am on Tuesday prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers, donations made be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org.
