Robert William Gregg , 42, of Marietta, GA, died July 9, 2016.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2pm in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home.

Mr. Gregg was born on May 24, 1974 in St. Charles, Illinois to Robert Lee Gregg and Susan Leigh Gregg.  He attended Dodgen Middle School and graduated from Walton High School in 1992.  He then attended Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA and graduated in 1997.  He worked as a Unix system administrator for telecom companies and lived in Batavia, Illinois; Kingwood, Texas; Maitland, Florida; Marietta, Georgia; Kingsport, Tennessee; and Honolulu, Hawaii.  He loved his daughter, cooking, playing golf and caring for his 1998 White T-Top Firebird.

Survivors include his daughter, Alyssa Marie Gregg, of Kingsport, TN; parents, Robert and Susan Gregg, of Marietta, GA; sister, Jennifer Marie Gregg, of Dacula, GA; former wife Julie Seale of Kingsport Tennessee; aunts, Marie Gregg, of Powder Springs, GA, Barbara Miller, of Toledo, OH, and Peggy Miller, of Danville, IL.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 16 from 1-2pm prior to the service at Marietta Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.mariettafuneralhome.org.
