Robert L. "Casey" Jones, Jr., 83, of Marietta, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 10th at 11:30 am, in Georgia National Cemetery with Dr. Don Mason officiating.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lillian T. Jones of Marietta; daughter, Jennifer (Jimmy) Tillery of Marietta; Grandson, Jordan Tillery of Marietta; brother, Allen H. (Sandra) Jones of Greensboro, N.C.; (1) niece, Julie Beane; (1) nephew, Bradley Jones both of Greensboro, N.C..

Born June 20, 1935, in Portsmouth, Virginia.  He served his country in the U.S. Army, during which he received the following; a Good Conduct Medal, the Carbine and Rifle Marksman Badges.  He was employed and retired after 30 years of service in the eye care industry from Bausch and Lomb. Robert loved trains, he was a long time member of the North Atlanta O-Gauge Railroad Club.  He also, enjoyed making pictures of varieties of colorful flowers.   Mr. Jones was a member for some 20 years, of Sandy Plains Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 9th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Rd., Marietta, GA  30066, 770.422.1234.
