Robert Lee "Bob" Foglesong, Sr., 72, of Canton, died Sunday, October 18, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Wednesday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with Chaplain Terry Combs officiating. Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. A native of Altona, IL, Mr. Foglesong had lived in Canton for 10 years. He was the retired owner/ operator of R&R Construction Company and was of the Methodist Faith. Bob was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Byers Foglesong of Canton; daughters, Theresa (Kevin) Abbadusky of New Boston, IL, Julie (Kenneth) Nelson of Oneida, IL, Kim (Dara) Foglesong of Jacksonville, IL, Tammy (Rodney) McGatha of Piedmont, AL, and Paula (Robert) DeJaynes of Oneida, IL; sons, Robert (Joy) Foglesong, Jr. of Ankeny, Iowa and Todd (Dawn) Foglesong of Oneida, IL; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Faye Coad of Moline, IL and Linda (Raymond) Cooper of Poplar Bluff, MO; several nieces and nephews also survive.
