Rex C. Walker's Obituary
Rex C. Walker, 88, of White, died Friday, June 10, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Sunday afternoon in the Chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. David Stripling and the Rev. Loy Frix officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Cartersville. A native of Acworth, Mr. Walker had lived in White for 31 years. He was the retired owner of Admiral Cleaners in Marietta and was a member of Awtrey Westwood Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Kathryn Walker of White; children, Barry (Linda) Walker of White and Margie Walker Leese of Acworth; grandchildren, Terry Walker, Jason Walker, Shane Kennedy, David Kennedy, and Kelly Kennedy Clark; sister, Ruth Carter of Cumming; 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Awtrey Westwood Baptist Church 5855 Awtrey Church Rd. Acworth, GA 30101. Online condolences may be expressed at
