Rebecca Owens, 79, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 2:30 PM, at Kennesaw City Cemetery with Rev. Richard Holden officiating.

Mrs. Owens was born in Kentucky to her parents Marvin and Alta Elliott. At the age of 17 Mrs. Owens moved to Acworth, where she met her husband of 46 years, Charles Owens. She loved to spend her free time traveling the world. Mrs. Owens frequently went on cruises and traveled to Europe, but her favorite place to visit was Panama City Beach (or anywhere that had a casino). She loved her family, including her dogs, very much, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Christy Holcomb (Chad); son, Steven Owens (Christine); 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
