Rachel H. Williams , 86, of Acworth, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 Friday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with Dr. John Weems officiating.  Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams was born in Cartersville but lived in Acworth for most of her life.  She was formerly employed at Unique Knitting Mill and also at North Cobb High School where she served in the school cafeteria.  She was a member of Awtrey Westwood Baptist Church.  Mrs. Williams enjoyed cooking and sewing and loved her family, especially her grandchildren, very much.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Williams, and her son, Joseph Paul Williams and is survived by her daughter, Arlene (John) Weems of Cartersville; grandchildren, William "Bill" Thomas (Tara) Hancock, Jr. of Mobile, AL, and Amy (Jason) Ingram of Acworth; great grandchildren, London, Will, Victoria, Justin, Zack, Emily, and Blake; great great grandchildren, Kalyn and Dean; sisters, Frances (Archie) Kuykendall of Ellijay and Shirley (Edward) Verner of Acworth; brothers, Luther Millsapp and Howard (Jean) Millsapp, both of Acworth; several nieces and nephews also survive.
