She also volunteered at Must Ministries, feeding the homeless for many years. Marlene was artistic, painting pictures for family and friends, and making beautiful crafts such as crocheted afghans and needlepoint. She played many instruments by ear. She loved to play the organ on Sunday morning before church. She would play hymns and sing. Sometimes her Cocker Spaniel would sing along which made her laugh. Everyone who knew her would say she had a wonderful sense of humor.
