Chesley Phillip Robuck, 83, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021. He joins his beautiful wife in heaven. He was an amazing husband and father. He is survived by his daughter Regina Robuck and his sister Rosemary Stokes Potts.

After graduating from Lander College in 1960, with a double major in English and Social Studies and a double minor in Sociology and Psychology, Phillip relocated to Acworth. From 1960-1967, he taught English, Literature, and Social Studies at North Cobb High School, where he also helped to integrate the school. While there, he met and married fellow teacher, Winona, and they were married for 48 years. Phillip was the voice of North Cobb Football games from 1960-1985 and is in the North Cobb High School Hall of Fame. He left teaching in 1967 to work in human resources and retired in August 2000 with 41 years of service in the school system and business world.

Philip had a lasting impact on students, community and organization leaders and members and anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He received many accolades including Phillip Robuck Day in 2013 from the State House of Representatives of Georgia and Acworth Mayor Tommy Allegood. He also served as a member of many organizations including Kennworth Golden K Kiwanis Club and the North Georgia State Fair Board.

In his final years, Henry's became his favorite and only place to get a good meal. He would say, "You are as good as gold" and hand out a gold coin. His passions included writing poetry, listening to music, going to Las Vegas with his daughter, working in the yard with Winona and giving back to his community.

As he was a huge fan of Roy Rogers, we say "Happy Trails to You", Phillip!

Visitation will be at Collins Funeral Home in Acworth on Thursday from 4-7pm and Friday from 10-12pm, 1-3pm and 5-7pm. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 20 ^th at 1pm at First Methodist Church of Marietta.
