Paul E. Williams' Obituary
Paul E. Williams, 92, of Acworth, died Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Friday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery. Mr. Williams had lived in Acworth most of his life and was a retired carpenter with the Carpenters Local 225 after 50 years. He had been ordained as a deacon in 1957 and was a mason with the Acworth Lodge #176 F&AM. Mr. Williams loved hunting, animals, his grandkids and to sing and play instruments. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Bible Church. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by son, Joseph Paul William and 5 brothers and sisters. He is survived by wife, Rachel Williams; daughter, Arlene (John) Weems of Cartersville; grandchildren, William "Bill" Thomas (Tara) Hancock, Jr. of Mobil, AL, Amy (Jason) Ingram of Acworth; 7 great grandchildren; London, Will (Maddie), Victoria, Justin, Zack (Kelsey), Emily and Blake; 2 great great grandchildren Kalyn and Dean; sister Frances Howard of Acworth; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
