Paul Robert Phillips, 75, of Acworth, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on February 5 ^th , 2021 after suffering from complications of COVID-19.

Paul grew up in Kennesaw, GA and was a lifetime member of Greer's Chapel Baptist Church. He was a retired construction worker and enjoyed fishing, hunting, engine/ATV repair and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joan Darnell Phillips, 2 sons, David Sumner of Fairmount and Harry Phillips of Acworth, a daughter, Jeannie Phillips Lockridge of Acworth, a sister, Carolyn Byess of Forsyth, 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Collins Funeral Home in Acworth from 1-3 PM Saturday, February 20 ^th . A private funeral service will immediately follow at 3 PM and will be limited to "immediate family" in light of COVID-19.
