Patrick Ray Allen, 50, of Acworth, died Tuesday, November 12, 2019.  A funeral service will be held at 2:30 on Wednesday afternoon, November 20th at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with Mr. John Winkler officiating.  Patrick was born in Pontiac, MI and had lived in Acworth for 5 years, coming from Alabama.  He served his country in the US Navy on the USS Missouri and also in the US Army as an aircraft mechanic.  He was Roman Catholic.  Surviving are his former wife and guardian, Georgia (Lulu) Allen along with her children, Crystal and Alex and Michael and Lauren; mother, Linda, Brother, Doug, and son, Camden; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Legion Post #8 1900 Henry St. Guntersville, AL 35976 Phone 256-582-8323.  The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101.
