Patricia Michelle Davis, 53 of Acworth passed away on August 12, 2026. A celebration of Michelle's life will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026 at 4:00 pm at NorthStar Church with Pastor Mike Linch officiating.

Words cannot express how much I miss my mom. Grief is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to walk through. It is undeniable, it is treacherous, but in a way it is the greatest reminder of God’s promise to us. He reminds us of heaven. He is close to the brokenhearted and he is faithful beyond measure. I know my mom is dancing with Jesus and I hope she is looking down on me and my dad with the biggest smile.

Michelle was one of a kind. She was pure hearted, joyous, and a lovely woman of God. She cherished her family, her friends, her faith, and anyone she crossed paths with. She was a bright light in a dark room and she was an inspiration to many. She was like the ocean. Calm and steady and always there to reach someone hurting on the shore. She was a warm hug, a sweet smile, a gentle face, and a thoughtful friend. She loved so hard and so well. She was beauty and grace.

Earth mourns her loss because our world will never feel complete without her in it. There will never be a second, an hour, a day, a year, that goes by that we don’t miss her beautiful soul. What we find comfort in is that her eternal existence is secure. Jesus called her home and she is free of all pain and sorrow. She is a bird that can fly and its wings will never grow tired. She is with God and we are with her. I will always be your little girl and you will always be my favorite mom! Thank you for loving me so well in the 19 wonderful years I got to know you! You will forever be my other half, my best friend, and the best mom a girl could ask for. Forever and always.
