Nolen Millsapps, Jr., 66, of Acworth, died Sunday, March 6, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Wednesday morning in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with Bishop Mark Settle officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens in Rome. Mr. Millsapps was born in Dallas, GA, but had lived in Acworth for most of his life. He served his country in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam era and was a retired saw repairman. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Acworth Ward. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Nixon Millsapps; daughter, Janet Lynn Millsapps, both of Acworth; siblings, J. C. Millsapps of Winston, Martha Mae Pearson of Kennesaw, Trula Newsome of Sugar City, Idaho, Tommy Millsapps of Adairsville, and Cathy Wood of Powder Springs; several nieces and nephews also survive.
