Nellie McCray Taylor, 94, of Marietta, formerly of Acworth, died Thursday, March 9, 2017.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Monday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. David LeGrand and the Rev. Brad Dewberry officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  A native of Acworth, Mrs. Taylor had lived in Marietta for many years.  A retired AT&T employee, she was a member of the AT&T Pioneers and the GracePointe Baptist Church.  Surviving are her daughter, Ramona (Richard) Mays of Roswell; grandchildren, Monya (Daniel) Pettigrew of Woodstock and Zachary Mays of Marietta.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Amy's Place at www.amysplace.net .  The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
