Naomi Harrison's Obituary
Naomi Harrison, 78, of Acworth, died Tuesday, November 21, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Sunday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Jody Harrison, the Rev. Mike Loner, and the Rev. Jerry Black officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Naomi was born in Taylorsville but was a lifelong resident of Acworth. She was a retired bus driver for the Cobb County Board of Education and was a member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Bobby Harrison of Acworth; children, Wesley (Carolyn) Haynes and Wayne (Sandra) Haynes, both of Acworth; step children, Amy (Tommy) Sanford of Dallas, Jody (Daisy) Harrison of Acworth, Joseph Nickerson of South Carolina and Martha Schreve of Lilburn; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Myrtle Ruth Shepherd of Austell; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 on Saturday evening at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
