Myrtle Ruth Shepherd, 91, of Acworth, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022.  Funeral services will be held, 1:00pm Thursday afternoon in the Chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Price officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  Ruth had lived in Acworth most of her life and was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.  She owned and operated Ruth's Clothing Store on Canton Hwy in Marietta.  Ruth is survived by her stepsons, Donald Shepherd and Bobby Shepherd both of Acworth.  3 step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00-9:00.
