Mr. Miles Stanley Callahan, age 69, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2025.

A man of quiet strength and enduring dedication, Miles was known for his tireless work ethic and his love of simple pleasures. Whether casting a line on a still morning or shaping wood into something beautiful with his hands, he found joy in the outdoors and in craftsmanship. His presence was steady, his spirit humble, and his heart generous.

Miles is survived by his son, Shannon Callahan of Dallas; his  mother, Syble Moss of Rydal, GA; his sister, Wanda Callahan of Rydal, GA; and his sister, Michele Cochran. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and the kind of wisdom that comes from a life well lived.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Collins Funeral Home in Acworth. Burial will follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
