Mildred Lovvorn, 97, of Acworth went to her heavenly home on May 21, 2026.  Funeral Services will be held at 3pm Sunday May 24th, at Collins Funeral Home, 4947 North Main Street, Acworth, with the Reverend Tommy Reinhardt officiating. Burial will be at The Grove Cemetery, 1605 Mars Hill Rd NW, Acworth, GA 30101

Mildred worked as a bookkeeper for Bank of Acworth and later retired from First National Bank on the square in Marietta. She was a long time member of Piney Grove Baptist Church where she regularly attended church and Sunday school in her earlier years. She enjoyed making quilts, crocheting, and puzzling. But most of all, she was devoted to her family and loved unconditionally.
She was a warm and caring person with a wit about her that made people laugh.

Mildred was preceded in death by her loving husband, Everett Lovvorn and son, William Thomas Graves. She is survived by her two daughters, Brinda Lovvorn and Sherri Brayfield, multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephew.  The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 prior to the service at the funeral home.
