Mattie Doris Henson, 94, of Acworth, died Monday, October 23, 2017.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Wednesday afternoon at the graveside in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.  Mrs. Henson was born in Cedartown and had lived in Acworth for 20 years.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.  Surviving are her sons, Barry Michael Henson of Cartersville and Larry John Henson of Acworth; grandchildren, Sherry Henson, John F. Henson, Tracey Henson, Tamara Warren, Greg Henson, Kelly Henson, and Todd Henson; great grandchildren, Timothy Warren, Micah Warren, Tatum Henson, and Tinley Henson; several nieces and nephews also survive.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
