Mary Ruth "Ruthie" Thomason's Obituary
Mary Ruth "Ruthie" Thomason, 62, of Dallas, died Thursday, April 5, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. A native of Pickens County, Ruthie had made her home in Kennesaw and Cartersville before moving to Dallas. She was employed as a data entry operator with Bank of America. Ruthie was preceeded in death by her brother, Jimmy "Bud" Thomason and is survived by her father, George J. Thomason of Kennesaw; mother, Mary Grace Thomason of Cartersville; sister, Marie (Gregory) Dixon of Dallas; brothers, Travis Thomason of Cartersville and Douglas Thomason of Kennesaw; nephews, James and Corey Thomason; The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
