Mary Ethel Mcclure Kennedy's Obituary
Mary Ethel McClure Kennedy, 82, of Acworth died Saturday, March 10, 2018. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 11am in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Abbott officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth. Mrs. Kennedy was a lifelong resident of Acworth and a member of the Acworth Ya-Ya Club. She worked in several local restaurants over the years before retiring. Mrs. Kennedy is predeceased by her son, Brian Smith and she is survived by her husband, Laburn Dural "Tobe" Kennedy; daughter, Denyse McClure (Jerome) of Kingston; sons, Dennis Smith of Acworth, Roger Steve Smith (Marclle) of Canton and Warren Lee Kennedy (Laura) of Cartersville; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; brother, Roy McClure of Marietta; sisters, Naomi Cornett of Holly Springs and Edith Craven of Kennesaw. The family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at
