Mary Alice Harrison Corona's Obituary
Mary Alice Harrison Corona, 64, of Acworth, died Friday, April 20, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Thursday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Jody Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Mars Hill Cemetery. Mary Alice was a lifelong resident of Acworth and was a very kind hearted woman who raised many children in her home. Her greatest joys in life were her family, her son, and her two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 35 years, Joel Michael Corona and is survived by her son, Joseph Andrew Corona and his wife Carrie of Dallas, and their two children, Izabella and Savannah Corona; her brother, Ernest Robert (Bobby) Harrison of Acworth and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Calvary Children's Home in Powder Springs at www.calvarykids.org. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Thursday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
