Mary "Nanny"
Ella Graves
Feb 6, 1946 — Jul 9, 2026
Mary Ella Graves, 80, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was the beloved wife of Steven Graves, with whom she shared 42 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered on love, laughter, and family.
Mary is survived by her four children, eleven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her unconditional love, guidance, and generous spirit.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her loving mother and father, her sister, her brother, and many cherished aunts and uncles who went before her.
Mary dedicated her life to caring for others. She devoted herself to raising her children and nurturing the many animals she loved throughout her life. Her home was always open to family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers in need. If you walked through her door, you were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and a place at her table.
One of Mary's favorite stories-and one she treasured throughout her life-was the blind date that led her to the love of her life, Steven. That chance meeting blossomed into a beautiful 42-year marriage filled with love and companionship.
Together, Mary and Steven shared a love for adventure and the open road. They loved camping, traveling, and embracing a free-spirited life, making countless memories as they explored many states in their RVs and campers. Those journeys brought them joy, freedom, and unforgettable experiences that they cherished together.
Mary also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially jewelry and makeup, which reflected her vibrant personality and brought her joy.
Mary's compassion, generosity, and loving heart touched countless lives. She will be remembered for her strength, her welcoming spirit, and the deep love she had for her family. Though she will be missed beyond words, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
