Mary Pearl Bunn Griffith, 82, of Acworth, died Saturday, July 13, 2019.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Tuesday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Wendell King officiating.  Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.  Mrs. Griffith was a native and lifelong resident of Acworth.  She was employed at Unique Knitting Mill until it closed and then worked with her husband, Gray, in his painting business.  She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, and The Train Gang.  Mrs. Griffith had formerly been a member of the Red Hat Society and the Young At Heart (Yah Yah) Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gray Griffith and is survived by her children, Melody Hughes of Acworth, Marsha (Doug) Allen of Acworth, and Gary Griffith of Douglasville; grandchildren, David, Doug, Gary, Kelly, Katie, and Thomas; great grandchildren, Dawson, Cohen, and Talon; sister, Evelyn (Joseph) Williams of Lilburn; several nieces and nephews also survive.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Affinity Hospice 12 Sammy McGee Blvd Ste 202 Jasper, GA 30143.
