Mrs. Mary Alice Brooks, 85 of Acworth passes away on Friday, August 7, 2026. Mary was a lifelong resident of Acworth and a member of Carmel Baptist Church. She retired from the AJC after 14 years of service in the delivery services department. She is survived by her husband of 69 years Douglas Brooks; daughter, Mary Gail Woodruff of Acworth; sisters, Sarah Maddox of Acworth and Eva Mae Mathis of Ware Shoals, SC; granddaughter, Tabitha (Tony) Arnold of Macon; great-graddaughter, Katie Arnold of Macon; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
