Mary Mabry Bennett, 72, of Marietta passed away November 17, 2016. Memorial Services will be Tuesday November 22, 2016 at 2pm in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Day officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm prior to the service.There will be a private family inurnment at Georgia National Cemetery on Wednesday.

Mary was the youngest of eleven children of late William and Edna Mabry and she was a lifelong resident of Cobb County. She graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1961 and later went on to graduate from Atlanta College of Cosmetology. She was a member of Chattahoochee Baptist Church. Her greatest joy in life was her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Jack Bennett; her daughter and son in law, Ginger and Billy Frees of Acworth; grandsons, William Zachary Frees, Benjamin Andrew Frees and Samuel Lee Floyd Frees, all of Acworth; brothers Don (Patsy) Mabry, of Marietta and Pug (Sandra) Mabry of Roswell; sisters, Florence (Joe) Ingram of Marietta, Geraldine (LB) Clark of Tyrone and Martha Brown of Smyrna.
