With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Ann Meador on January 5, 2026 at the age of 88.

Martha was known for her sincere love, faith, and kindness, She was born in Acworth, GA on August 30, 1937. As a life-long resident, Martha graduated from Acworth High School. Shortly afterwards she married Dillard and they recently celebrated their 71st wedding Anniversary on December 11th.

Over the years, Martha worked for both Cherokee and Bartow County school systems as a fixture in the offices as a secretary.

As a member of New Hope Baptist Church, she and Dillard raised their family with strong
Christian values.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, Clyde and Leone Chumley as well as grandson
Aaron Pierce Meador.

Martha is survived by her loving husband, Dillard Meador. Also survived by brothers Alton
Chumley and David Chumley.

She leaves behind her three sons:

Keith Meador (Linda spouse)

Mike Meador (Lisa spouse)

Clint Meador (Kelly spouse)

Martha was a devoted grandmother "Nanny" to four grandchildren: Justin Meador, Melissa Patterson, Hannah Meador, and Naomi Meador as well as three great grandsons: Bryson, Blake, and Brody.

Service details are as follows:

Collins Funeral Home on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Service is at 2:00 with visitation from
12:00 - 2:00. Interment is immediately following at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens in Acworth,
GA.
