Mrs. Marian "Marnie" J. Kruglewicz of Kennesaw, daughter of the late Marian and William Jarrett, was born Sept 3, 1943 in Norristown, PA. Surrounded by family, she peacefully departed this life on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain in Marietta.
She was united in holy matrimony to Jean Paul Kruglewicz in Aug 1965. This union was blessed with three children. Jean Paul preceded her in death in Aug 2010.
She was an early and active member of Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta since 1978, a year after its founding. Marnie's caring for others and compassion for animals called her to be an involved member of the Women in Faith Ministries, to help to jump start the Cobb County chapter of Family Promise, and to belong to Widows Web, Friendship Circle, and the Holy Name Society. Marnie was also very active in her neighborhood and community, including the Bells Ferry Civic Association, Forest Service Retirees, and a number of animal causes and shelters.
She was loved by many, as her positive attitude, generous spirit and caring personality, will have her passion forever remain an inspiration in the lives of all who knew her.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her surviving children: Scott (Laura) Kruglewicz of Sandy Springs, GA, Shawn (Lisa) Kruglewicz of Greenville, SC, Donna (Dale) Hobgood of Inglewood, FL; her sister, Lynn (Richard) McKay of Clarksville, GA; her five beloved grandchildren Tyler, Parker, Kaci, Kellen and Carter Kruglewicz; and devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
