Patsy Lovingood, aged 81, of Acworth, departed this life on October 1, 2026. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5, at 2 PM at Collins Funeral Home Chapel in Acworth, followed by her interment at Mayes Family Cemetery in Marietta.

Patsy was born to Daisy Lou and Floyd Fountain Post and was raised in a large family. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers—Junior, Kenneth, Rex, Don, and Deon Post—and two sisters, Vera Gravley and Loveene Cook.

She is survived by her brother, Fontaine Carson Post, along with many beloved nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 PM until the time of service on Monday.
