Mae Belle McAliley, 84, of Acworth, died Monday, October 22, 2018.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 Wednesday morning in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. James Gwin officiating.  Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.  Mrs. McAliley was born in North Carolina but had lived in Acworth for 51 years.  She was an excellent seamstress, cook, and homemaker and was a member of the Acworth United Methodist Church.  Mrs. McAliley was preceded in death by her husband, John Richard McAliley, Jr, sons, Joseph McAliley and Jeffrey L. McAliley, and granddaughter, Rebekah Mae McAliley.  Surviving are her children, Rev. J. R. (Mary) McAliley, Linda (Ken) Hill, and Sandy (Mike) Jennings.  13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 on Tuesday evening at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
