Mac Dover, 76, of Cartersville, died Saturday, September 1, 2018.  A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Collins Funeral Home, 4947 N Main St. Acworth, GA 30101.

Mr. Dover was a lifelong resident of Bartow County and a member of the Baptist Faith.  He retired from Georgia Pacific after 14 years.  Mr. Dover was preceded in death by his parents, Solomon and Ruby Dover.  He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Dover, of Cartersville; children, Dwayne (Terry) Dover, of Tampa, FL, Michael (Beth) Dover, of Jackson, WI, and Laura (Michael) Luffman, of Danville, VA; grandchildren, Alex Dover, Emma Dover, Zachary Smith, Levi Smith, Graydon Smith, and Georgia Rae Sobacki; sisters, Betty (Joe) Morris, of Phoenix, AZ, Carolyn Poteet, of Buchanan, GA, Marjorie (Leon) Stansel, of Douglasville, GA, Sue (Walter) Lochridge, of Cartersville, and Patsy Dover, of Cartersville; brothers, Charles Dover, of Kingston, GA, Eugene (Unni) Dover, of Panama City, FL, and Tony Dover of Cartersville.
