Lucy Mae Mines Murray, 85, of Marietta died Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 2pm at Greers Chapel Baptist Church with David Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in Greers Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2pm at the church prior to the service.

Mrs. Murray was born in Marietta and was the daughter of the late Murice Cleveland Mines, Sr. and Fanny Mae Tyson. She was a homemaker and was a member of Greers Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Murray was preceded in death by her husband Frank Murray and she is survived by her daughters, Marcia Herring Crocker (Ronnie Poteet) and Terry Dishmon; sons, Dennis Herring, Tim Murray (Paris), Daryl Wilson (Deedee) and Richard Murray (Kathleen); sister, Emily Watts (Lamar); brother, Pat Mines; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
