Louise Stanton Dobbs' Obituary
Louise Stanton Dobbs, 88, of Ellijay, GA, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 31st at the Marietta Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Woodstock.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Dobbs; sons, Frankie Stanton, and Buddy Stanton; daughters, Carol Joyce Smith and Debbie Stanton; grandsons, Coby Stanton and Jason Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Treva (Mike) Skinner of Ellijay; brothers, Richard (Barbara) McDaniel of Canton and Grady (Velma) McDaniel of Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Stanton of Woodstock; son-in-law, Joe Smith of Marietta; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 12 Great Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 30th at Marietta Funeral Home.
