Lonnie McClure, 56, of Marietta died Friday, February 23, 2018. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 2pm at Mt. Arbor Baptist Church in Marietta with Rev. Richard Duncan and Rev. Jimmy Day officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2pm at the church prior to the service on Wednesday. Mr. McClure was a lifelong resident of Marietta and was a member of Mt. Arbor Baptist Church. He lived the last 30 years of his life fighting a courageous battle against Crones disease. He was very talented in arts and crafts and was an outstanding and talented pianist. He was employed with TJ Maxx and was the pianist at Mt. Arbor Baptist Church. Mr. McClure loved his family and his church family and he will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Mr. McClure is preceded in death by his mother Jean McClure. He is survived by his father, Lanier McClure of Marietta; sister, Sandra (Terry) Pritchett of Kennesaw; nephews, Bryan (Anna) Pritchett of Buckhead and Kelly (Jennifer) Pritchett of Powder Springs; niece, Amanda (Richard) Rice of Kennesaw; several great nieces and nephews and aunts and cousins.
