Mrs. Lois Jeanelle Lacy, 96 of Acworth died Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Lois was a Paulding County native and moved to Acworth in the 1950's. She worked as a supervisor for New Way Cleaners for 25 years and also worked Trans-Art Industries from 1977 to 1994. Lois loved quilting and making hand made quilts. She is preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Westbrooks; Brothers, Hubert Williams and Paul Williams. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Johnnie Lacy of Acworth; Son, Ricky Lacy of Duluth; Sister, Annie Clackum of Cedartown; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the YAARAB Temple Hospital Fund, C/O Kennesaw Mountain Shrine Club, PO 496 Marietta, GA 30061.
