On Friday, July 24th, we said goodbye to our sweet mother, Lois Jarrett, as she peacefully put on her little angel wings and joined loved ones on the other side.  She was married to Alvin C Jarrett for 38 years before being widowed in 1977 at age 52. During her 95 years she raised 6 children - Bobby (Helen), Donna Vaughn (Bob), Faye Ferrell (John), Ted, Dianne Russell (Bill) and Richie (Kari) – and was Nanny to 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson as well as countless others who came into her life through her family.  Mom was a loving, caring and giving person to everyone she encountered.  During the last days of her life Mom was surrounded by her children and grands (she credited them with keeping her young and happy).  Next to her family, Mom's faith was her greatest joy.  Her last few hours with us were filled with family singing her favorite hymns and reminiscing about our childhood as she passed from this life.  When thinking about what we leave as we pass from this life, our mother left precious memories as well as adults and children who all knew they were loved and cherished by this precious woman.  What an amazing accomplishment Mom!  Graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 28 ^th , 11:00 a.m. at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth, GA.  We invite anyone who feels comfortable wearing a mask and social distancing to join us as we say goodbye to Mom.
