Lois Burnette Hamby Ferris, 90, of Kennesaw, died on Friday, January 13, 2017.  A funeral service will be held at Collins Funeral Home on Monday, January 16 at 1:00pm.  Dr. Wayne Fain will officiate with the interment to follow in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Ms. Ferris was a teacher with the Cobb County School System having retired in 1986 from Pine Mountain Middle School.
She was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her sons, Bob Ferris, Jr. and Pat Ferris both of Kennesaw, Ga.; grandchildren, John Robert Ferris Huffman (Jaime) ; great-grandchildren, Emily Anne Huffman and Marlee Jo Huffman.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday, January 15 and from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Monday, January 16 at Collins Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.collinsfuneralhome.org
